We see clients who have a variety of issues they want to work on. Some of our special interests include working with anxiety, depression, sleep & insomnia concerns, chronic pain & other chronic conditions, adult ADHD, procrastination, career & professional issues, burnout, trauma including PTSD, grief & loss including pet grief, relationships, and life transitions.

We work with couples and individuals ages 14 and up.

We offer virtual sessions for clients located anywhere in Alberta, Ontario, or Saskatchewan through a secure online platform.

We also offer in-person sessions in NW Calgary.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes and cost $220.

Couples sessions are 75 minutes and cost $330.

We accept payment by etransfer or credit card, as well as many types of health insurance.

We require a credit card on file to book an appointment.

Where possible, we direct bill to your primary insurance policy. If this isn’t possible, you will receive a receipt with all the necessary information to submit for reimbursement. We do not offer billing to a secondary insurance policy.

It is your responsiblity to verify coverage with your insurance provider. You are responsible for any portion of the session cost that is not covered by insurance.

Your appointment time is reserved for you, and late cancellations leave a hole in the therapist’s schedule that could have been filled by another client. We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to appointments. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, or if you miss your appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee to the credit card on file (equal to 100% of the appointment fee).

Cancellation fees can not be charged to insurance, and may not be covered by third party payors. By booking an appointment, you are authorizing Birch Haven Therapy to charge your credit card on file for any relevant cancellation fees.
